Tiger supports the US team at the Presidents Cup from a distance.

Due to severe leg injuries sustained in a vehicle accident last year, Tiger Woods, who served as captain for the US

 in a victory in 2019 couldn't be an assistant at this week's Presidents Cup.

However, that doesn't mean he isn't supporting US captain Davis Love and the American team in their Quail Hollow matchup with the Internationals.

Love stated that while working remotely, Woods still serves as a crucial counselor.

Love remarked, "As usual, we're include him. "He is having fun. He clearly misses it. He wants to be here, and I know that."

While watching groups play the sixth hole during Thursday's first matches, Love contacted Woods.

Woods returned after suffering injuries at the Masters in April, 14 months after the Southern California car crash.

He finished 47th after playing 72 holes at the tough Augusta National.
