The tragic Emmanuel Moseley injury update reinforced the 49ers' worst concerns.

During their victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Week 5, the San Francisco 49ers were given a terrible injury setback.Due to a knee injury,

starting corner back Emmanuel Moseley left the game and did not come back. The worst suspicions of the Niners were realized after the injury's tests revealed

that Moseley had a ruptured ACL. It's a significant loss for the 49ers that Moseley will need season-ending surgery to repair his torn ACL.

Before getting hurt, Moseley was having an outstanding game, making his first career interception and returning it for a touchdown after Baker Mayfield misfired on a pass.

Prior to suffering an injury, Moseley had started each of the 49ers' first five games this season. However, he now faces a lengthy recovery period and will try to

make a comeback in 2023.Moseley recorded 21 tackles, one tackle for a loss, five pass breakups, and an interception this season.

In each of the first four weeks, he appeared on at least 99 percent of the defensive snaps for the 49ers.

In four seasons at Tennessee, Moseley made 141 tackles, 29 pass defenses, and two interceptions. Since 2018, he has appeared in 45 games with the 49ers, starting 33 of them.

The 49ers are probably going to start Deommodore Lenoir in Emmanuel Moseley's absence.
