NFL world Reacts to the News of the 49ers Wide Receiver Cut.
The San Francisco 49ers have invited a number of seasoned wide receivers to try out today; at least one of them may end up being signed.
After what they did this afternoon, the rationale behind why they did it is now more clear. Willie Snead, a seasoned receiver, was cut by the 49ers on Monday,
only two days after being promoted from their practice squad.Snead played 28 times in yesterday's win over the Los Angeles Rams, but he did not have any targets.
As indicated by Snead's release, the 49ers will either sign another receiver soon—possibly even within the next few hours—or star wide out Deebo Samuel will make a comeback
this week. Many supporters believe that the latter is most likely true and that the 49ers are concentrating on wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., an unrestricted free agent.
Given that the 49ers were working out a trio of other seasoned wide receivers earlier today, Odell Beckham Jr. is not anticipated to be the player.
Not OBJ, but only Adam Humphries, Tajae Sharpe, and Mohamed Sanu were brought in for workouts.
The 49ers will add at least one wide receiver to their active roster in the coming days. Will it be Odell Beckham Jr.? Will a veteran be present instead?
