Kimi Raikkonen's potential startling new career move.

A year after quitting Formula 1, former Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen,

the last person to win the world championship while driving a Ferrari, could make a comeback.

The Finn is apparently in discussions with Chip Ganassi Racing, a squad devoted to the IndyCar championship,

according to reports in the Brazilian publication "Uol Esporte."

The following season, Iceman would exchange driving duties with American Jimmie Johnson rather than participating in every race.

Thus, Raikkonen would become the first Formula 1 world champion driver to compete in IndyCar since 1993.

He had recently returned from a brief spell with the Trackhouse team in NASCAR.

Nigel Mansell of Britain came in last and also won the title in his first year.
