Julio Rodriguez accomplishes a feat never previously witnessed in MLB.

The youngster Julio Rodriguez is a jewel for the Seattle Mariners. The outfielder, who is 21 years old, is expected to anchor Seattle's franchise in the years to come.

The Mariners are also about to play in the MLB playoffs for the first time in more than 20 years now that Rodriguez has joined the team. 

But before that, Julio Rodriguez made history by accomplishing a feat that no other player in Major League Baseball has ever done.

According to FOX Sports, Julio Rodriguez just made major league history by being the first player to ever have 25 home runs and 25 steals in a same season.

In the bottom of the fifth inning of Wednesday night's home game against the San Diego Padres, Julio Rodriguez accomplished that feat by stealing second base.

He had 25 home runs, 24 stolen bases, and a slash line of.277/.339/.492 when he entered that game.

The Mariners have been able to stay in the mix in the American League's wild-card chase because to Rodriguez's impressive rookie campaign.
