Insight from "The Light House Effect" by Steve Pemberton

Your life  experience is an opportunity to touch the life of another, to see in their life a connection to your own.

If you compare yourself with others you may become vain or bitter; For always there will be greater or leaser person than yourself.

The most difficult examinations are the ones that requires us

to take a hard look to ourselves and confront the things we don't like.

Excuses are tools of the incompetent reserved to build monuments to nothing,

and those who dwell in them are seldom good for anything else.

Some things are not our fault, but they are our responsibility .

Providing another with what you needed most is the path to healing yourself.

"Give from where you are with whatever you have."

Wherever you are, however you are- strong and resolute , scared or scarred, uncertain yet still hopeful,

perhaps in the midst of your own storm- you have the capacity to be a lighthouse.
