Dustin Johnson wins the £16 million LIV Golf jackpot as the season's undisputed champion.

Following his confirmation as the first LIV Golf individual champion, Dustin Johnson received an incredible £16 million prize.

After placing in a tie for 15th in Bangkok over the weekend, Johnson won the jackpot with two tournaments left to play.

The American has had a lot of success since joining the Saudi-backed series, placing in the top five in each of the first six competitions, including his first LIV triumph

last month in Boston.In the first season of the breakaway circuit, the 2020 Masters champion has amassed an astounding £11.7 million, 

and with two events left to play, he still has a cool £16 million to add to his total.

Johnson referred to winning the LIV for the first time as a "honour" after winning the match. Through the series' website, he stated

With the remark, "The first chapter of LIV Golf's history could not be written without Dustin Johnson's name," LIV CEO Norman also paid honor to his first champion.

With the final two events set to be held in Jeddah and Miami, Johnson will have two more chances to increase his LIV earnings.
